Lifters are a hot topic in injection molding, and Randy is working hard to address many of the major issues being brought up. Tool design and lifters can impact the manufacturing environment in the areas of failures and overall processing issues, amongst others. Granted, some tools have zero issues, but others seem to have issues constantly. Consistently the lifter is one component that needs to be considered and paid attention to with regards to unsupported length, timing, angles and shut offs.
