Randy’s latest series on ptonline.com addresses the challenges that many shops face with lifters.  Having managed thousands of repairs and preventative maintenance activities every year, he has seen many of the issues and challenges that molding operations encounter on a regular basis.

He primarily focuses on why lifters are used versus slides, angles/travel and some design considerations. He shares a couple of examples that help with the formula of determining the angle required for the lifter being used.
